Mellieha Athletics Club welcomes you to the 5K Running Series, a series of 3 races to take place between May and October on 3 of the fastest routes in Malta!

Race Logistics:
• 5km Start – 7am
• 2km Start – 7:30am
• 1km Start – 7.40am
• 5km Start – 7am
• 2km Start – 7:30am
• 1km Start – 7.40am
Bundle conditions: 1 number will be issued for all 3 races important to be kept and used in the following races. If the bib number is lost €5 fee to get a new number will be charged.
Technical t shirts and goodie bag will be given at each race registration.
Single Race registrations are available at a price of €20 per race.
Awards will be given at the end of each race to the following:
o 1,2,3 overall male and female
o 1st and 2nd in the following age categories
o 1st and 2nd M/F Over35
o 1st and 2nd M/F Over40
o 1st and 2nd M/F Over45
o 1st and 2nd M/F Over50
o 1st and 2nd M/F Over55

In all 3 races we will be organising 1K competitive kids races with age categories awards. (bundle price for Kids races €25, Single race €10) and 500M fun runs (€5 each race).

o 1st, 2nd & 3rs Male and Female

o 1st, 2nd & 3rs Male and Female

For the first time we will be introducing the 1k Kids and youths league:
o Points system will be used using the placing in the three 1k kids races
o The best two results out of the 3 races will be added together for the final classification
o To be eligible for the final classification athlete has to participate at least in 2 races out of 3
o Athlete with lowest amount of points wins the Overall league classification.
o Awards will be 1st & 2nd Male / Female participants.
o Points system will be used using the placing in the three 1k kids races
o The best two results out of the 3 races will be added together for the final classification
o To be eligible for the final classification athlete has to participate at least in 2 races out of 3
o Athlete with lowest amount of points wins the Overall league classification.
