DESCRIPTION:FOUR ATHLETES – ONE TEAM\n​ONE SWIMMER​ · ONE CYCLIST · TWO RUNNERS\n​THE SWIM\nSwim 750m from Salina Beach around two buoys and back.\nTHE BIKE\nRide your shining bike for three loops\, that’s 20km\, starting off from Salina Bay up to the turnaround point and back. ​\n​THE RUN\nTwo members of your team have to run 5k each\, one waiting for the other to arrive. Yes\, this is a relay event after all. \n  \nRACE INFO\n\n​Important Info \n\nThe start of the race is at 7:00AM\nThe road will be closed between 6:30AM and 10:00AM\nThe minimum age of participants is 16+\nThe maximum number of participants allowed is of 320\, that’s 80 teams of 4\nEach team must have at least one male or female registered.\n\nRace Format \n\nBike start in waves.\nBike leg is draft legal. Time trial bikes and Ebikes are not allowed.\nRun starts 1 minute after the last bike wave leaves.\nSwimmers start at 7:30AM after the run start.\nSwim start: Beach start from the top of the ramp and will finish at the top of the ramp.\nSwimmers will be provided with chipped timing at the start and finish line.\nCyclists will be provided with chipped timing at the start and finish line.\nRunners will have the same and will use the finish Gantry. A secure area to tag for change over from runner 1 to runner 2 will be created. The change over will be marshaled by the organisers.\nRunners will run on the pavement and cycle lane.\nRunners will run with a race bib\nAll goody bags will be distributed at the end of the race.\nOnce registered\, should a team member need to be changed\, an email is to be sent to the organisers.\nThe registration will close once all 320 places have been filled.
