DESCRIPTION:THE GRID BOX – We wanted to create a functional event that was open to all levels of fitness\, and that did not involve the high weights that some of these type of events use.\n\n\nThe Event will be split into two sections &.\n\n\n\nSection  – Here you will run 400mtr\, enter Zone A & perform 4 exercises of 10 reps each. This will continue until you have done 4 rounds (400+10/400+15/400+20/400+25)… following final exercise you will run round to enter zone B. (50mtr)\nTotal Distance 1.6km  Total reps 280\n\n\n\nSection  – This we are calling the shuttle area. Here you will shuttle back and fort between Ball toss and Thrusters in a count up format. 1 Ball toss run to thruster and complete 1 rep\, this will be done until you have reached 10 Ball Toss & 10 Thrusters. Once the 10th thruster is done you run to the finish line.\n Total reps 55+55 (110)\n Med Ball Weight 6kg Women (9Ft) 10kg Men (10ft)\n KB Weight (16kg Men) (12Kg Wmn)\n\n\n\nEvent is open to all levels with all participants being timed.\nCategories – Individual MEN / Individual WMN / Mixed Doubles\nAge Group Prizes (Cash prizes for overall winners in Individual Categories)\nExercise guide and format will be issued closer to event date\nPart of the Grid Elite League\nPart of Top Club Competition

DESCRIPTION:Fabio Spiteri’s passion for endurance sports and his commitment to a noble cause is unwavering\, even after sustaining injuries in last year’s races. Project 100 has been recently launched as a continuation of Fabio’s efforts to raise 100\,000 for abandoned animals and their caretakers. \nThis year\, Fabio will undertake two challenging races: the Ironman Quintuple World Championships in Colmar\, France where he finished 7th in the world\, and 5th in his category\, and the Deca x10 Ironman in Italy. \nThe Deca 10x Ironman is a more formidable challenge\, consisting of a 38km swim\, 1\,800km cycling\, and a 422km run. \nTo support Spiteri’s cause\, The Club Fitness Centre is organising a Hyrox-based challenge in aid of Project 100. DESCRIPTION:General Information\nAgones Sfc will be organizing an Aquathlon.\nThe event\, which is endorsed by the Malta Triathlon Federation and valid for the triathlete of the year award 2024 as from this year will adopt the World Triathlon Aquathlon Format and therefore will consist of a 1km Swim followed by 5km Run\, with a time limit of 90 minutes.\nRace will be held on the 28th July 2024\nThe race venue will be PRETTY BAY\, Birzebbuga.\nRace Starts at 7.00am\nRace briefing will be held at 6.50am. Females and Males will have a separate start.\nARRTS will be timing the event. ARRTS timing chips shall be used. All those who do not have an ARRTS timing chip need to hire one on the day from race venue for €5.\nRun will take place on the promenade & pavements and therefore traffic free. DESCRIPTION:The annual Garmin BSJ Open Water Swimming Championships will be organised by the Swimming Board of Birkirkara St. Joseph Sports Club\, under the auspices of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta and will consist of five races of a 2km distance\, and one race of 4km. \nThe Club reserves the right to cancel events at its own discretion even at a short notice. \nThe Club will announce the location closer to the race date in order to establish a location with safe racing conditions. \nRace 1 – 19th June – 6:30pm – 2km \nRace 2 – 26th June – 6:30pm – 2km \nRace 3 – 3rd July – 6:30pm – 2km \nRace 4 – 31st July – 6:30pm – 2km \nRace 5 – 14th August – 6:00pm – 2km \nRace 6 – 28th August – 5:00pm – 4k \n21st August – Reserved for Cancellations – 2k \n4th September – Reserved for Cancellations – 4km \nThe entry fee for each race is €15 per race \nSwimming Championships Single Entry – €15 – REGISTER \nSAFETY: All efforts will be made by the Club to ensure the safety of the swimmers during these events. Nonetheless\, swimmers are being reminded that should at any time a swimmer feels unwell\, s/he should immediately draw the attention of one of the marshals on the patrolling canoes or boat\, or head for the shore immediately.  Swimmers should be conversant with all the applicable rules and regulations.
