DESCRIPTION:The below event is CANCELLED!\n\n____________________________\n\nGeneral Information\nAgones Sfc will be organizing an Aquathlon.\nThe event\, which is endorsed by the Malta Triathlon Federation and valid for the triathlete of the year award 2024 as from this year will adopt the World Triathlon Aquathlon Format and therefore will consist of a 1km Swim followed by 5km Run\, with a time limit of 90 minutes.\nRace will be held on the 26th July 2025\nThe race venue will be PRETTY BAY\, Birzebbuga.\nRace Starts at 7.00am\nRace briefing will be held at 6.50am. Females and Males will have a separate start.\nARRTS will be timing the event. ARRTS timing chips shall be used. All those who do not have an ARRTS timing chip need to hire one on the day from race venue for €5.\nRun will take place on the promenade & pavements and therefore traffic free. Roads will not be closed to traffic.\nAll finishers will receive a medal.\nApplications are done online at www.agones-sfc.eu/events\nIn case of bad weather\, the race director will take the necessary decisions 30 minutes prior to the event.\nJunior Races will be included and held according to the Aquathlon Distances set by the Malta Triathlon Federation.\nIn case of cancellation\, the event will be postponed to a later date and no refund will be given.\nPlease keep yourself updated via the event page\, Agones Sfc Facebook.

DESCRIPTION:Formerly known as TORQ5k\, the Gudja 5k is an event organized by Agones Sfc in collaboration with the Gudja Local Council. The event\, which includes a 5k run or walk around Gudja and its suburban surroundings\, features a stunning challenging scenic route\, bypassing historical and natural wayoints that only villages such a Gudja can offer. \nThe Friday evening event will also be part of the Lejla Sajfija Gudja and Jum il-Gudja celebrations. We invite all participants\, friends and families alike\, to take the opportunity to spend an evening surrounded by great atmosphere which includes local food stalls\, entertainment\, games for children and grownups alike etc. \nThe event promises to bring with it the best of what Agones Sfc has to offer\, including music stations along the way\, finisher’s chill out zone\, pre-race group warm up and top end organization.\nAll participants will receive a custom-made finishers medal. Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 males\, first 3 females overall and age group categories. SUMMARY:CANCELLED - Eurosport Adidas 'Terrex' Trail Running League 2025 - Race 4 – Red Tower
DESCRIPTION:After careful consideration the Agones Sfc committee\, has decided to change the format of the Trail Running League Race 4 – Red Tower for 2025 which was going to take place on the 15th June 2025. \nThe event turnout at this point is extremely low\, especially considering that a charity run is being organized on the same day and many athletes have opted to do the charity run. Obviously\, the charity run was not on the calendar when we chose the date for the Red Tower run. In fact\, the Red Tower Run has been organized on the same weekend for the past 5 years and this event has just been cropped up recently. \nAs you can imagine\, as a voluntary organization\, we cannot afford to organize events which are not financially viable and for this reason we decided to cancel the live event. \nNonetheless\, as we always do\, we look at a solution to keep the league exciting and make sure everyone completes the medal set. \n–          First and foremost\, the Red Tower Run will be changed into a virtual run which can be executed independently between the 14th and 29th June 2025. To apply for the run simply go to www.agones-sfc.eu/events \,once the run is completed you will be requested to send us an email with you Garmin or Strava segment of the route and you will receive the TRL4 Medal. Medals will then be distributed later.
